Hot days call for cool, delicious desserts – preferably ones that
won’t send your calorie count through the roof, which is exactly why we
love this recipe for homemade watermelon sorbet. With only 56 calories
per serving, the recipe is easy to create and involves just four
ingredients, with the basis being chunks of fresh, juicy watermelon, our
favorite summertime fruit. Note: If you’re watching your sugar intake,
you might want to lessen the amount of sugar you add; the recipe calls
for a half cup, but we made ours with half of that and still found the
slushy sorbet plenty sweet and deliciously refreshing after a long day
in the sun.
